How to hide content on mobile devices. This will work for PHP, Javascript or simple HTML code.

Add the following code into your <head> or style.css

<style type=”text/css”>
.mobileHide { display: inline;}
/* Mobile Portrait and Landscape */
@media only screen
and (min-device-width : 320px)
and (max-device-width : 480px){ .mobileHide { display: none;}}

Now go to your code, image or javascript that you would like to hide for end-users from mobile devices.

<div class=”mobileShow”>
Enter code in here that you do not want to appear on mobile resolutions

Want to do it in PHP with user-agent detection?

<?php $iphone = strpos($_SERVER[‘HTTP_USER_AGENT’],”iPhone”);
$android = strpos($_SERVER[‘HTTP_USER_AGENT’],”Android”);
$palmpre = strpos($_SERVER[‘HTTP_USER_AGENT’],”webOS”);
